"We had an idea for our yard but did not know how to proceed. Susan McCleary's knowledge of plants and garden design is exceptional. She turned our idea into a vision, then beautiful reality with thoughtful design, reuse of existing elements, careful plant selection and professional project management."

Susan McCleary
Susan McCleary is a landscape professional with more than fifteen years experience in the field. She attended the Edmonds Community College Horticultural Program, where she had the great fortune to study under world-renowned plantsman, Dan Hinckley. Working with Hinckley had a deep and profound effect on McCleary's creative design sense, vast plant knowledge, and overall excitement about the art of gardening. In 1998, she completed the Master Gardeners Program sponsored by Washington State University Cooperative Extension and King County. She is currently working towards her Certified Professional Horticulturist designation. Susan often volunteers her time consulting others on the importance of sustainable gardening without the use of pesticides and chemicals. She encourages all those around her to be stewards of the earth.
